Where Environmental Data Meets Health Data

The Kentucky EPHT Network is working to develop a state-wide network of health and environmental data that will drive actions to improve the health of communities. Kentucky is one of 25 states and one local health department funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that comprise a larger national network of EPHT programs that feed into the national Tracking Network.

EnviroHealthLink is developed and run by the Kentucky Environmental Public Health Tracking Program within the Division of Epidemiology and Health Planning. However, datasets that the EPHT use are a collaborative effort involving many offices and divisions in the Kentucky Department for Public Health and the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection.
