Query Builder for Emergency Department Visits - Number of Emergency Department visits for Heat Stress

ICD-9/ICD-10 Transition

* On October 1, 2015 all inpatient and outpatient medical encounter coding switched from ICD-9-CM to ICD-10-CM. * Due to differences between ICD-9-CM and ICD-10-CM, analyzing trends over time including this transition date should be avoided. * Some condition definitions are significantly different. For example, under ICD-10-CM coding, there are significantly fewer asthma hospitalizations than under ICD-9-CM.
